Zápisky o optimalizaci života, financí a cesty k FIRE.
Maximalizace užitné hodnoty (Value for Money).
- > Inženýrství: Stavění systémů odolných proti selhání (fault-tolerant), spoléhání se na tvrdá data, složené úročení a Monte Carlo simulace, nikoliv na pocity a náhodu.
- > FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early): Finanční nezávislost a předčasný důchod. Stav, kdy pasivní příjmy z investovaného majetku spolehlivě pokryjí životní náklady a práce se stává čistě dobrovolnou volbou, nikoliv nutností k přežití.
Notes on optimizing life, personal finance, and FIRE.
Finding equilibrium between wealth accumulation, an engineering outlook on life, and experiencing the present without status games.
System Definition: Who is the Frugal Engineer?
A systematic thinker who views time, money, and life decisions as code blocks to be refactored:
- > Frugality: Rejecting status symbols, emotional spending, and leases. Maximizing utility and value for money while ignoring external vanity expectations.
- > Engineering: Designing fault-tolerant structures, using data-driven pipelines, compound interest calculations, and Monte Carlo models rather than luck.
- > FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early): A state where passive income generated by accumulated assets reliably covers all household expenses, turning employment from a survival necessity into a voluntary choice.
